Accessing Activity and Audit Logs in Aptible

Aptible provides several ways to view activity and audit logs for your environments and users.

Activity Reports

Activity Reports provide historical data of all operations in a given environment, including operations executed on resources that were later deleted. These reports are:

  • Generated weekly for each environment

  • Accessible for the lifetime of the environment

  • Available in CSV format

To access Activity Reports:

  1. Go to your Environment page

  2. Click on the "Activity Reports" tab

  3. Download the CSV for the week you want to review

Recent Activity Logs

For recent operations, you can view activity directly in the Dashboard:

  • The new Dashboard UI shows the most recent activity

  • Operation logs are available for specific operations for up to 90 days

User Login Activity

Login activity reports showing who accessed the Dashboard and when must be requested from Aptible Support. These reports typically show login activity for the past 14 days.

Common Operations in Activity Logs

Activity logs show various operations, including:

  • Configuration changes

  • Deployments

  • Scale operations (including autoscaling events, which appear with "Action taken by autoscaling" in the User field)

  • Resource creation and deletion
